The House of Assembly has introduced a new online feature to help people access historical statutes of Newfoundland and Labrador.

The new index, which was designed by the legislative library, contains information dating from 1833 to 1970.

The House of Assembly says the legislation, which was not previously digitally indexed, fills a gap for historical research.

The legislative library has updated other features of its existing electronic indexes as well.
